At the very start of this month, my boyfriend and I took a trip to the Body Shop. He works in the same shopping centre as our local Body Shop branch so as a result, he, along with his family and friends, were treated to 50% discount from the store for a few days only. I knew I had to take advantage of this amazing offer so I dragged him there and wandered around the store for over an hour while I found the perfect items.

Review: Garnier Fresh Moisturising Pot
Moisturising is something that I have to do day and night. I do it in the morning before I apply my make-up and in the evening after I have cleansed my face. Ironically, I find that if I don’t apply moisturiser, my face goes quite greasy and oily, which is an awful feeling. Since I used to suffer with awfully oily skin when I was younger, I have to moisturise daily to prevent this from happening again! The type, brand or consistency never really used to bother me but since I have found the Garnier Fresh Moisturising Pot, I have changed my standards!

How I Remove My Make-Up
Muslin Cloths vs Face Cloths
I will hold my hands up and say that I didn’t know about the existence of muslin cloths until I bought an item from John Lewis a while ago and received a free sample of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish with a free muslin cloth. I haven’t used the cleanser yet, but when I misplaced my face cloth I decided to start using the muslin cloth. I developed my own personal preferences about them both but thought I would dig a little deeper about the difference between these two cleansing items.

Beauty Haul, November 2014
I realised recently that I haven’t done a haul post in what feels like a while; it’s not because I haven’t been buying anything, it’s more that I have been buying bits and bobs and I didn’t want to do haul posts where I am showing one or two items. When I realised I hadn’t posted in a while, I collated all of the beauty-related items I bought for myself in November to show you guys, I hope you enjoy it!
Review: No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush
No7 had always been one of the more expensive skincare and make-up brands that I would occasionally splash out on to treat myself. Of course, that was before I was introduced to the world of Mac and Clinique and true high-end beauty products. However, I have always had a special place in my heart for No7 as it was one of the first brands of make-up that I bought.
You might remember back in July when I posted in a Boots Beauty Haul that I had bought the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush. I used it when I first bought it but then stopped using it for about two months when I moved house (it was packed away in one of the boxes somewhere!). However, recently I have been using it again to ensure my face is completely clean after I have removed all of my make-up so I thought it was time to give you lovely readers a little review.
Boots Haul October 2014
When I found out Boots were having an event on whereby Advantage Card holders could spent £50 to earn £12 worth of points, I knew I had to take advantage of this. It was a little bit of an indulgence shopping spree as I didn’t really need anything that I bought and I’m not going to lie – part of me feels as though I bought unnecessary items just to earn the extra points. However, looking at everything I bought, I am glad I did so!
Get to Know Me More!
As some of you may already know, I love doing Q&A posts as they pose great questions for the writer and some interesting reads for the audience. Saying that, I found an old website containing a few different tags for bloggers and loved the look of the 20 Questions Tag!
Body Shop/Make-up Haul, October 2014
I feel like I have been posting quite a few haul posts recently, and no doubt there will be another one soon as Boots have an advantage card event on this Thursday, but I thought I would show you some of my recent Body Shop purchases. I went for a look around last week while I waited for my boyfriend to finish work and I ended up buying some makeup and FINALLY getting a Body Shop loyalty card! I have been to the Body Shop quite a lot recently but have always put off actually getting the loyalty card as there is an initial £5 cost, however I probably would have saved more than the £5 in discount bonuses if I had got the card a few months ago.
